Prioritise, Listen, Be Courageous, & Don’t Compromise!

Dear All,

Where does the time go?! I’m presently caught up in the process of re-prioritising my life and work so that I can put my best effort into what God wants from me now. It’s important to know which season we are in so that we can bear the fruit of it. I believe we all have depths of gifting and talent which God wants to explore and tap into, and there are times when we must let go of things we’ve always done and embrace new challenges. There are only so many plates we can spin at once.

For me personally I know I must embrace the ‘author’ within! This will require huge blocks of time and a different headspace - and therein lies the challenge. I am blessed to have a super leadership team who really do ‘take the strain’ of the ministry with me, and this will be an enormous help in the coming months. I would value your prayers.

God is blessing us enormously in response to our keeping sabbath. His favour is evident upon those of us who have approached the boss at work to get Saturdays off to worship. It has been amazing for those who have found the courage to take this stand, even resulting in promotions!

We have been, and are being mocked and questioned of course! But we expected this so were prepared by the grace of God. I heard Apostle Bill Pryor recently preach that we the church are entering the Holy of Holies according to Tabernacle symbolism, and he said this represents Sabbath or Sabbath rest. He also pointed out that the light is different there, being illuminated by God’s glory itself. Much of the church is wanting the ‘glory’ manifestations now.

I feel it’s appropriate therefore to point out that the church is meant to observe and listen to the prophets. God often used, and still uses prophets ‘for a sign’ as well as a voice.

When an internationally significant group of prophets with an apostle at the helm starts to observe God’s LITERAL sabbath, and refuses to bow to Rome’s ’sun-day’ anymore, WHAT IS GOD SAYING?!?

My heart is for God’s people to reject traditions which have caused us to compromise His word. Time is short now. We should question why we always do what we have always done and change accordingly & quickly.

Loving you,

Lynne

Hello Again!!!

Dear All,

I’ve just returned from a 2 month ministry trip to 5 countries, including Vanuatu, Kenya, S.Africa, Nigeria and the U.K, where we have a Forerunners church in Bath. It’s more than fascinating to observe the continual changing face of the church at large. This is only good though if it’s reflecting more Jesus than the world and it’s ways. Culture plays such a big role in many countries, which is O.K as long as it’s compatible with Scripture, but a real frustration to the prophets sent to announce ‘change’ if it’s not!

I’m more and more thankful for the leading of the Holy Spirit who is the One sent to lead us into ALL TRUTH. Since deception in the last days was something Jesus warned about, the Gospel Truth is crucial at this time. God is no longer winking at some things and radical obedience is being required. With a name like Forerunners we are often among the first to be challenged and adjusted in God’s plans to perfect His church.

Over recent months I have been heavily convicted by a deep concern to return to the Biblical Sabbath day as the the true day of worship and rest, as opposed to Sunday which has been observed by most Christians for centuries. As is usually the case with me, the Holy Spirit will raise an issue, I will open my heart to embrace it and He will then send something/someone to confirm it. This was the case with the Sabbath issue and He confirmed it by bringing me an outstanding DVD series by Professor Walter Veith called ‘Total Onslaught’ which covers the issue in great detail, along with other things which have been modified, altered, and diverted from the truth down through the church age.

Observing the Sabbath is an integral part of the Ten Commandments and actually dates from Creation since God Himself rested on that first seventh day and sanctified it - set it apart - as an example for all mankind, beginning with Adam and Eve (Genesis 2:1-3). See also Leviticus 23:3. Exodus 20:8-11, Deuteronomy 5:12-15.

In the third and fourth centuries, as the Catholic church gained favour in the Roman Empire under the emperor Constantine the Great, it increasingly incorporated customs adapted by pagan worship (a process called Syncretism). Among these was the elevation of Sunday, the day devoted to honouring the sun god, a deity worshiped by Constantine and very popular with the masses in the Roman Empire.

However, you can read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and you will not find a single line authorising the sanctification of Sunday. Rather, the Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday. Prof. Walter Veith reveals from official written Catholic documentation their presumption to officially change the day of worship to Sunday. I implore you to get these DVD’s! The fourth commandment was literally removed by them from the ten to effect this. How does God feel about that?!

On the 8th August ‘09 we will begin as a ministry to obey God in His commandment to honour His Sabbath. This is bound to create problems for many people because of work commitments (you shall do no work on it - Lev 23:3) but we must come into obedience to ten out of ten, rather than 9 commandments.

This is our latest venture and I believe God will honour us for it. I appreciate your interest in reading this and also value your prayers and support as we go forward in Him. You can research Prof. Walter Veith at http://amazingdiscoveries.org/

Loving you,

Lynne
